Sometimes on Yelp you get what is rated as a five-star company that turns out to be anything but!  HOWEVER, JC Tree Experts deserves a TEN!   Javier arrived on time, was very knowledgeable (knew the names and characteristics of the trees I needed cut, when some of the other company's I had bid on the project, who were also professional arborists, did not! He let me know what trees could come back from roots, and so needed to be ground out, and which could be cut to the base only, because they wouldn't grow back -- which is critical information!) Their bid was fair, they were punctual and arrived prepared. My job was complicated by some trees being in awkward to access places, but they were super careful about spas, decks, and overhead power lines. They also did some extra trimming but did not charge me for the extra work. What gives them a ten in my book is the extra effort they made with a difficult neighbor.  Javier's crew literally had to stay in a tree for almost an hour while I convinced this neighbor and his wife to let me trim his weed tree that had been dropping branches into my yard for years. His crew waited patiently swinging from a rope high in the tree while I worked to negotiate the inch-by-inch cutting of this neighbor's tree! Truly a superhuman effort! They were fast, cleaned up thoroughly, and were professional all the way through.  I highly recommend Javier Jr. and Sr. and their excellent crew. You can trust them to do a great job!

I would highly recommend JC tree experts if you need any tree related job! We have a dying birch to be removed and a new tree to replant. The team manages to complete everything in two hours, and leaves the sidewalk tidy and clean. Everyone on the job is friendly and professional!

We had a lot of overdue maintenance for our yard - overgrown ivy and weeds, numerous volunteer privet and bottlebrush trees that needed removal as well as a large heritage oak tree that required trimming.  JC Tree Experts responded immediately to our quote request in June and scheduled an onsite quote two days later.  Javier Jr. came to our home; he is very professional and we found out he was a certified arborist.  Among the 2 other quotes we received, we found his company's quote was reasonable.  We scheduled the work two weeks later and were very satisfied with all of the work they did.  Due to the large amount of tree pruning, hedge trimming, ivy removal and tree removal, it required 2 days of work.  They even removed an old fence for us.  Javier Sr. expertly handled the tree stump grinding.   Our garden and trees are looking great!  We are so thankful for the JC Tree Experts team.  Highly recommend their services!

I had a tall tree which was leaning over in front of my house. I was worried that it might fall over unexpectedly one day so I decided to call around for quotes to cut it down. I called several places and JC Tree Experts came in at the lowest price. I scheduled an appointment with them to cut the tree. A crew of five showed up. They arrived on time and were very efficient. After they cut down the tree, they thoroughly cleaned the area. I was so happy with their service that I hired them to cut three additional trees in the back yard. They did an excellent job again on the second job. I highly recommend JC Tree Experts. They are dependable, efficient, and offer very competitive pricing.
